Brotherhood of Funny Hats

The Brotherhood of Funny Hats is mysterious and ominous. They come together to influence the politics of the world. Or sometimes they just get together and bowl. They are the epitome of a secret society, with strange costumes, rituals and many fingers in many different pies. They seem to hold all the power, and have all kinds of twisted, complex plots and schemes underway at any one time. Or maybe they're just a secret society trying to beat the evil secret society. Either way, they do have a tendency toward flamboyant uniform. The Death Eaters, Bene Gesserit, Dumbledore's Army, Seven Dials and the Wizard University of Discworld all count. And the Illuminati of course, if you're into that sort of thing.

A pretty simple charcoal grey shimmer. Top it with a funny hat. I suggest Chaotic Stupid if you want something crazy.
